How to apply online for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2023 ?
- Visit the official website of PMAY at https://pmaymis.gov.in.
- Click on ‘Citizen Assessment’ on the main page and select ‘Online Application’ from the drop-down menu. You will see four options to choose from.
- To apply online for PMAY 2023, select the option ‘In Situ Slum Redevelopment (ISSR)’. On the next page, fill in your Aadhaar number and name and click ‘Check’.
- In the next step, you will be presented with a detailed statement – Format A – requiring all your personal information. Fill out each column carefully; you will have to provide a lot of information from the state to your home address.
- Your PMAY 2023 online application is complete once you have filled out all the details.

- Visit the PMAY official website at mis.gov.in.
- Your Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana online form will be accessible once you enter your father’s name, mobile number, assessment ID. Select your option and fill in the relevant info.

What is the process for checking PMAY 2023 application status?

On the home page, select Citizen Assessment.
From the menu, select Track Your Assessment Status at the bottom.
There are 2 ways to check the status of your PMAY application:
By Assessment ID is Option 1
Using your registered mobile number is Option 2
By The first option
Using the Assessment ID, check the status of your application
To track PMAY application status, enter your Assessment ID and registered mobile number.
The second option
You can check the status of your PMAY application online by entering your name and mobile number
Select the option ‘By name, father’s name, and ID type’.
Please provide your state, city, district, father’s name, ID like (Aadhaar, Driving License, Passport, etc.). You will need to enter your registered mobile number along with the ID type you have selected.
Registration documents for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
In the case of salaried employees
- Proof of identity: PAN, Aadhaar card, voter card, driving license
- The national identity proof (Voter’s Card / Aadhaar Card)
- Proof of Category: SC/ST/OBC/Minority Certificate
- Aadhar Card / Driving License for proof of address
- The Income Certificate consists of a Salary Slip, Appointment Letter or Salary Certificate
- Certificate of Income LIG/EWS
- If applicable, Form 16 / Income Tax Assessment Order / Latest Income Tax Return
- The property’s valuation certificate
- Last six-month Bank statement
- Plan for construction
- A letter of approval from Housing Society or Competent Authority is required
- Construction cost certificate
- Contracts for construction
- Receipts for advance payments
- Allotment letter for the property/agreement, or other relevant property documents
- An affidavit stating that the applicant or any member of his family does not own a pucca house in the country.
Self-employed / business professionals
- Proof of identity: PAN, Aadhaar card, voter card, and driving license
- Voter card or Aadhaar card as proof of nationality
- Proof of Category: SC/ST/OBC/Minority Certificate
- Aadhaar Card / Driving License as proof of address
- Certificate of income
- If applicable than a Form 16 / Income Tax Assessment Order / Last Income Tax Return
- To determine the nature and activity of the business, attestation of the financial statements is required
- Last six-month’s bank statement
- Plan for construction
- Housing Society / Competent Authority NOC
- Construction cost certificate
- Developer and builder details in the construction agreement
- Receipts advance payments
- An allotment letter for the property or other relevant property documents
- The applicant or any member of his family does not own a pucca house anywhere in the country.
Application Form for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2023 (Offline)
A nominal fee of Rs 25 is required to fill out the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Registration Form 2023 at the nearest CSC or affiliated bank that has partnered with the government.

PMAY Registration 2023 Eligibility
- Age requirement is 18 years or older.
- There must be no house in India that you own.
- Before buying a house, you must not have received any government subsidies.
- Below are the three groups you must belong to:
- Groups with low incomes (LIGs)
- The Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
- MIG 1 or 2 (Middle Income Group)
- This classification is determined by the applicant’s annual income.
Under PMAY 2023, who is not eligible for houses?
- A person whose annual income exceeds Rs 18 lakh.
- Those who own a pucca house anywhere in the country.
- Those who have taken government subsidies to purchase a home in the past.
