The RAS Prelims syllabus covers General Knowledge and General Science, with a focus on both Rajasthan-specific topics and general subjects.
  2. RAS Mains: The RAS Mains exam comprises four theory papers, each carrying 200 marks. Unlike the UPSC Mains Exam, there are no optional papers in the RAS Mains syllabus.Papers include short, medium, and long answer questions.The marks obtained in the RAS Mains exam, along with the Interview marks, are counted for the final merit list. The RAS Mains syllabus covers a wide range of subjects, including History, Economics, Sociology, Management, Accounting & Auditing, Administrative Ethics, General Science & Technology, Earth Science, Indian Political System, World Politics, Current Affairs, Sports and Yoga, Behaviour and Law, and General Hindi and General English.
  3. Interview/Personality Test/Viva-voce: The final stage of the RAS Exam is the Interview/Personality Test/Viva-voce. In this stage, candidates are assessed on their communication skills, personality traits, and overall suitability for the administrative services. The interview carries 100 marks.
